What a handy tool that I didn't even know existed until recently. My husband was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor that was affecting his balance and ability to walk. He has since had it removed but is walking with a walker and relearning how to walk alone. Things like getting in and out of a car are taken for granted until you just can't do it anymore. This device is IDEAL for his needs. He is only 55 and doesn't want to be treated like a little old man and this allows him to be able to get in and out of the car by himself and get his walker and go. It has been a Godsend for us. I also love the idea of having it handy to break out a window in case you find yourself submerged in water. What a nightmare to not be able to break a window to escape. Shudder.
