I have been wanting a torch for my kitchen forever. It was just one of those gadgets I could never justify getting. Well recently my husband and I have empty nested and I am able to cook some more sophisticated meals. I wanted to make Creme Brulee and everyone knows you need a culinary torch to make that. It just isn't the same without the browned sugar on the top. So I broke down and bought this torch. I am very happy with it!This is very easy to use. It is self-igniting and has childproof safety measures. That will be good for when my grandkids want to cook with me. This is cordless and refills very easily. This also works at any angle. I could tell that this was of good quality as soon as I opened it. Nice heavy duty tool but not too heavy that you can't use it comfortably.
